Description
The Emergency Management (Fire) Internship is open to students who are at least 18 years of age. Interns will respond to incidents with chief officers, develop mock Incident Action Plans (IAP) for town-wide events and other emergencies as needed, set up table tops/mock Emergency Operations Centers for Town events and emergencies, develop educational material for the local community (Citizens Academy), and other duties as necessary. Interns should should possess a basic knowledge of Emergency Management; possess the ability to work in high pressure situations; be student minded in order to be considered for this internship.
