Description
The J. Paul Getty Trust offers a Graduate Conservation Internship for graduate students who intend to pursue careers in fields related to the visual arts. You must be currently enrolled in a graduate program leading to an advanced degree in a field relevant to the curatorial internship, or have completed a relevant graduate degree since June 2002 to be eligible. The duration of the internship is 12 months beginning in September. Participants work full-time and are award a $25,000 grant, health benefits, and an educational travel allowance. Conservation interns assist in the inspection, care, and treatment of objects in the museum and the research library and may also take part in field projects and scientific research.
