The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation Internship is available to students who have completed at one year at a degree-granting institution. To be eligible for this opportunity, you must be at least 18 years of age, a resident of New York or attending an institution within New York, and have a minimum GPA of 2.0. Additionally, you should possess strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, computer, and organizational skills. As an intern, you will gain valuable experience in your assigned department, interact with government leaders and policymakers, perform rewarding and meaningful work, and receive academic credit.
