Description
The Native Plant Nursery Intern is available to students with interest in watershed ecology, fisheries biology, botany, and ecological restoration. You must have experience in native (and exotic) plant identification and biology, nursery operations and horticultural practices, ability to work outside in varying terrain and weather, and strong written and verbal communication skills to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will be responsible for seed cleaning/processing, seed germination, plant propagation, transplanting, irrigation, updating inventory stock, managing plant database, data collection and entry, nursery facilities upkeep.
