The Smithsonian National Zoo offers a Communications Internship to students who are studying public relations, journalism, communication, English, biology, or related field. You must have strong interest in science, excellent writing skills, strong organizational skills, and willingness to take initiative and motivation to seek new learning opportunities to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will gain public relations experience and shadow the communications staff as they escort media around the park.
