Summer Reporting Internship - Remote

The Summer Reporting Internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are pursuing a career in journalism. You must demonstrate an interest in solutions journalism and holding people in power accountable, interest and ability in public records research and familiarity with scientific literature, and interest and belief in the power of storytelling to shape and better communities in order to be considered for this award. Intern duties may include researching and identifying under-reported studies, topics, and issues on environmental health, pitching and working with editor Brian Bienkowski to shape story ideas, reporting out stories, using a broad range of human and digital sources, meeting deadlines. responding quickly to edits, working through drafts and other duties as necessary.
