Website Design and Development Internship

Description

The Website Design and Development Internship is open to high school students who are residents of Kansas. You must have strong writing and communication skills, be detailed oriented, proficiency in Office 365 software (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), exposure to digital and visual design including webpage content management, exposure to graphic design software like the Adobe Creative Suite, strong customer service skills with the ability to work individually and as part of a team and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively. Intern duties include assist with system administrative tasks in the content management system (CMS) powered by SiteViz Premiere, gather and document business needs to support redesign strategies, work with search engine optimization techniques and Google Analytics reports to inform redesign strategies, assist with building and testing new webpages, assist with copy/content writing and help support end users and content managers in the CMS. Other duties and responsibilities may be included as necessary.
