Description

The Santa Barbara Library Teen Internship is available to high school students 16 years of age and older. To be considered for this internship, you should possess excellent communication skills, be able to navigate the library's website, and be enthusiastic about the library. As an intern, you will focus on either the Library Services or the Maker Entrepreneurship Track. The Library Services track will participate in developing youth and teen programs, producing social media content or writing for the Library’s blog, curating and maintaining collection displays, supporting summer reading, materials circulation, and related library tasks. The Maker Entrepreneurship Track will focus on developing business plans, budgeting skills, and prototyping their products. These internships are available at the Central or Eastside Library in Santa Barbara, CA, and run from September - December.
