IRC Case Management Internship

Description

The IRC Case Management Internship is available to applicants who are interested in social work. To be considered for this internship, you must be enthusiastic, have experience working with English Language Learners, and be able to transport clients in a reliable vehicle. As an intern, you will gain much knowledge about the process of resettling newly arrived refugees and will gain experience in completing the logistical tasks. Interns will be given the opportunity to interact with clients directly and find creative ways to communicate while encouraging the clients to be self sufficient. You will also learn about documentation that is required by the government and they will become familiar with working with government entities such as the Social Security Administration and U.S. Citizenship and Immigration. This internship is located in Denver, CO.
