The Embark Scholars Program Internship is available to students pursuing an accounting or IT related degree from an accredited college/university who are interested in a career with a public accounting firm. To be considered for this internship, you should identify as belonging to a traditionally underrepresented racial or ethnic minority group within the professional services industry. Additionally, you should have at least two years of education remaining prior to being eligible for full time employment and possess excellent communication, leadership, technical, and time-management skills. The Embark Scholars Program consists of an eight week internship featuring national training and rotations within KPMG’s Audit, Tax, and Advisory practices. All Embark Scholars will be aligned to a cross functional network of individuals who will work collaboratively to ensure the scholars engage with members across all Business Resource Groups within the firm. To aid in relationship building and knowledge sharing across the Embark Scholars cohort, students are placed in virtual teams to work collaboratively on an assigned capstone project throughout the course of the program as well as reflect on their experiences. Internships are offered in various locations in the U.S.
