Description

The United Airlines Industrial Engineering Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who have completed courses in basic industrial engineering and statistics. To be considered for this opportunity, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, and social skills. Preference will be given to applicants who have Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification or have experience with SIMIO/ARENA, SQL, Minitab, Visual Basic (VBA), and other programming tools. As an intern, you will work on projects in conjunction with business teams to find opportunities for improvement, capture and analyze information and data, develop improvements, and innovations. You will capture and analyze United's various operations to make fact-based, data-driven recommendations and will apply technical skills and software to analyze and improve business processes and to build tools for use by other departments. This internship is offered in various locations within the U.S.
