Description

The Historic Preservation Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in history, historic preservation, archaeology, regional and community planning, public administration, architecture, public policy, geography, urban studies, political science, or related fields. To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess strong Microsoft Office and communication skills. As an intern, you will assist in the operations of the Certified Local Government (CLG) program, researching and developing a historic preservation plan template to be used by local governments, conduct outreach and collect feedback from local governments on use of the preservation plan template, and research and assess historic preservation plan documents, and make recommendations on how the Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation can best assist local governments in their historic preservation planning efforts.
