The PNBAA Internship is available to students who are actively enrolled in Portland Community College’s AMT program, pursuing Airframe and Powerplant certificates issued by the FAA, have working knowledge of FARs regarding maintenance activity, and understand privileges and limitations related to A and P certificates and proper maintenance documentation. You should possess excellent communication, time management, organizational, and Microsoft Office skills to be considered for this role. As an intern, you will work closely with the FBO, service center, and fleet maintenance teams at Hillsboro Aviation to gain relevant experience while developing a holistic understanding of career opportunities available to A and Ps in the business aviation industry right here in the Pacific Northwest. This position is expected to contribute in a meaningful and productive way while opening themselves to the mentorship and coaching opportunities that will arise while working side by side with A and Ps and aviation professionals who have significant experience in the business aviation industry.
