LANL Computational Sciences Undergraduate Remote Internship-PAID

Description

The LANL Computational Sciences Undergraduate Remote Internship is available to full-time undergraduate students who are majoring in computer science or mathematics. To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a minimum GPA of 2.75. Preference will be given to applicants who possess knowledge of, or have experience with: computer programming, advanced mathematical methods, familiarity with scientific research methods and data demonstrated by completed coursework in the natural sciences, or familiarity with cutting edge computational research in applications such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and quantum computing. This internship program provides mentoring, hands-on technical experience, and professional development opportunities through a formalized work plan complementing the student's chosen area of study.
