Description

The BMW Government and External Affairs Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in political science, international relations or related fields. To be considered for this opportunity, you should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and have completed at least 30 credit hours. You should also possess strong analytical, communication, time-management, and planning skills. As an intern, you will contribute to advancing issues important to the BMW Group, as well as learn about the automotive industry on global and domestic levels. You will gain exposure to the political process in the United States and focus on the government and external affairs activities in the Washington, DC, office. The office acts as an advocate and serves as an advisor to the company headquarters in Munich, Germany, and regularly communicates with policymakers, the diplomatic community, industry associations, and non-governmental organizations. This internship is offered in the fall.
