The NCAN Spring 2025 Communications Internship is available to upper-division undergraduate and graduate students of all majors. To be considered for this opportunity, you should have experience with education journalism, communications, social media, or policy (through work, volunteering, or studies). Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong graphic design and video editing skills. Selection is based on your resume, a 1,000-word writing sample, and examples of your design or social media work. As an intern, your responsibilities will include promoting NCAN content and higher education news on social media, planning and execution of social media campaigns, writing blog posts and e-newsletter articles, designing graphics, and assisting with marketing communications for the 2025 NCAN National Conference. This internship is offered on a fully-remote or hybrid basis if applicant is based in the Washington, DC, area.
