Description

The Amway Aviation Maintenance Technician Internship is available to upper-division undergraduate students who are majoring in aviation maintenance management. Desired skills include: informed decision-making, customer service oriented, personal responsibility, having an inclusive mindset to work with partners from various backgrounds, leadership skills, being able to convey clear expectations, and taking responsibility for decision-making. As an intern, you will play a pivotal role in the success of the department through the completion of real, meaningful projects. Your responsibilities may include streamlining the artwork change communication process with internal partners and suppliers as well as identifying gaps and opportunities in raw material inventory management. Amway aircraft include Praetor 600, Gulfstream 600, Gulfstream 550, Citation CJ4, and Helicopters Airbus H145 and Sikorsky S-76 C++. The maintenance team supports business owners and business executives directly with face-to-face interactions. This internship is offered in Grand Rapids, MI, during the summer.
