GM Creative Clay Sculptor Summer Internship-PAID

Description

The GM Creative Clay Sculptor Summer Internship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are majoring in industrial design, transportation design, fine arts, sculpture, ceramics, or a related field. Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate creative ability with a supporting 3D portfolio, have a basic understanding of design and sculpting principals (including proportion, line, and surface ), and have basic 3D software experience (Alias, Blender, etc.). As an intern, you will work collaboratively with design, sculpting and engineering to interpret sketches and develop clay scale models of a future automotive theme using established and emerging clay sculpting best practices and techniques.  You will present finished models to design and sculpting leadership at midterm and final show events and will support general sculpting assignments within the studio environment. This internship is offered in Pasadena, CA, or Warren, MI.
