The Indiana Senate Democrat Legislative Internship is available to college sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students with an interest in government. You must demonstrate excellent writing skills, exceptional interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, public speaking skills, organizational skills, effective time management skills and a professional attitude. Responsibilities include: staffing committee hearings, analyzing bill content, compiling and processing bill data, researching past and pending legislation, attending to constituent correspondence and helping senators prepare for committee meetings and session days.
