The External Affairs Internship is available at National Aquarium in Baltimore. You will serve as a member of the support staff for the External Affairs Department, including the Government Relations staff. Responsibilities may include: assisting in planning, preparing and executing events and tours with VIP guests, background research, mailing list maintenance, communicating with the local community, screening donation requests, drafting articles for newsletters and designing gift packages for various events. You must have a degree in public administration, journalism, English, sociology, marketing, public relations, political science, communications, urban development, business or a related field and demonstrate computer skills as well as a creativity in your work.
