Burger King Scholars Program Details

Scholarships range from $1,000 to $60,000 and are intended to offset the cost of attending college or post-secondary vocational/technical school. Recipients are selected through an application process considering their grade point average (GPA), work experience, extracurricular activities, community service, and financial need. To apply, you must submit an application, a current transcript, a copy of your parents' first two pages of their IRS 1040 income tax form or T-1 Canadian income tax return, and at least one online recommendation.
The number of awards will be determined by the funds available and the number of applicants. The scholarships can be applied towards any education-related expenses at accredited two- or four-year colleges/universities and vocational-technical schools in the United States, Puerto Rico, Guam, or Canada. A student may transfer from one institution to another within their award year and retain the award, provided the institution and the student's enrollment fulfill eligibility criteria.

Burger King Scholars Program Eligibility

McLamore. His commitment to philanthropy and education made him a pillar of community service throughout his lifetime. Through the program, the BK Foundation awards scholarships to deserving high school seniors, Burger King employees, and their families to help advance their education. Because of Jim, his legacy, and the support of franchisees, the scholars program has awarded $60 million in scholarships to more than 51,000 students.
