You might have plans to fill your weeks off with a part-time job or
internship, summer camps, or
extracurricular activities. However, think of that glorious downtime you’ll experience when you’re done. There will be no study time, office hours, or club and organization meetings to attend.
Instead, you could spend that free time at the gym – at no cost to you.
Planet Fitness Summer Pass for Teens
This summer break, Planet Fitness is offering free memberships to students under their
High School Summer Pass program (some college freshman may be eligible as well). Beginning on May 15, students ages 14 – 19 can get fit for free at their local Planet Fitness.
This free program is available through August 31. Students must register in order to begin utilizing the Summer Pass. Once registered, teens will receive a digital key that they scan at their local Planet Fitness.
If you are under the age of 18, parent or guardian consent is required in order for you to create an account and start your free membership.
Ten participants in the program will get the chance to win a $10,000 scholarship from Planet Fitness.
Planet Fitness High School Summer Pass Sweepstakes
Deadline: 8/31/23
Available to: Students between ages 14 - 19
Award Amount: 10 $10,000 scholarships
The Planet Fitness High School Summer Pass Sweepstakes is open to students between the ages of 14 and 19. Students are invited to register for a High School Summer Pass, which will allow them to workout at the Planet Fitness location of their choice for free, all summer long.
All participants in this free summer program are entered into a scholarship sweepstakes. Ten $10,000 winners will be selected from the U.S. and Canada.
$10,000 Grants for High Schools Too
In addition to awarding ten $10,000 scholarships, Planet Fitness will also be giving away $100,000 in grants to high schools across the country.
A
high school leaderboard will keep track of how many students from each school sign up for the Summer Pass program. The top 10 schools with the most registrations will receive a $10,000 grant.
To make things fair, schools are organized by tiers, which are designated by the number of students that attend. A winning school will be selected from each tier in the U.S. and Canada at the end of the summer.
Winning schools will be able to use the grant to purchase new athletic equipment, complete field renovations, and supply physical education, health, and wellness classes.
