Description
The Emerson Endowed Scholarship is open to full-time English majors attending the University of Alabama. You must be at least a junior, have taken a minimum nine or more hours of English courses, have a minimum 3.2 GPA in English courses and have a minimum 3.0 overall GPA to be eligible for this award. Preference is given to students who express an interest in African-American and Southern literature, especially the works of William Faulkner. This award is based on academic achievement.
