US National Chemistry Olympiad

Description

The US National Chemistry Olympiad is a multi-tiered competition designed to stimulate and promote achievement in high school chemistry. The key focus of the Chemistry Olympiad is to encourage and support the understanding of fundamental concepts and their relevance to a wide range of chemistry topics. In order to participate, you must begin at the local level. Local sections select their nominees by various means including: the USNCO local section exam, a locally-prepared exam, laboratory practicals, teacher recommendations, or other regional events with competitive activities among school teams. Local competitions usually occur in March.
