Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Hempstead County Scholarship

Description

The Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Hempstead County Scholarship is open to students who are residents of Hempstead County, Arkansas. You must be a single head of household (never married, legally separated, divorced or widowed) with legal custody and sole responsibility of one or more children under the age of 18. You must be a high school graduate or GED recipient, be pursuing a career-oriented course of study (full- or part-time to ensure a better standard of living for your family, and be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution. You may not have previously earned a bachelors degree. Also, you must have a minimum 2.5 GPA, qualify as low income at or near the poverty level, and be a Pell Grant recipient to be eligible for this award.
