Description
The L. F. "Tow" and Pearl J. Diehm Sports Medicine Endowment is available to graduate students at the University of New Mexico, College of Education. You must be a graduate of an accredited athletic training education program from a college or university, with preference given to students graduating from New Mexico institutions. Also, you must be a NATA member, be licensed or pursuing licensure within the state of New Mexico, a BOC certified athletic trainer and be assisting with the education of UNM undergraduate athletic training students. Additionally, you must pursuing a graduate degree in the Department of Health Exercise and Sports Science in the UNM College of Education or pursuing a teaching endorsement in the UNM College of Education with the intent to pursue the profession of sports medicine as a means of livelihood to qualify for this award.
