The Simmons Distinguished Scholar Award is available to full - time, first - year students at Simmons University. You must maintain a minimum 3.3 GPA to be eligible for this award. To be considered for this award, you should have a record of taking honors, advanced placement (AP) and international baccalaureate (IB) courses, as available in your high school system.
