American Legion Hopewell Memorial Post 146 Scholarship

Description

The American Legion Hopewell Memorial Post 146 Scholarship is available to high school seniors and undergraduate students (at least 6 hours per semester). You must be a resident of Hopewell, Petersburg, Colonial Heights, Prince George County, Dinwiddie County and Chesterfield County, exhibit good citizenship (as evidenced by letters of recommendation from three sources), current American Legion Post membership letter or membership card when submitting required attachments, high school minimum GPA of 3.0 or college students minimum GPA of 2.0, demonstrate commitment to the community through volunteer service and financial need, and submit statement and essay to be eligibble for this award. Priority may be given to citizens who are the child or grandchild of a Member or Auxiliary Member of the American Legion Hopewell Memorial Post 146.
