Chevrolet Discover the Unexpected (DTU) Fellowship
National Newspaper Publishers Association
The Chevrolet Discover the Unexpected (DTU) Fellowship is open to students between the ages of 18 and 22 who are enrolled at an HBCU. You must submit a video that that details why you would be an asset to Chevrolet, how you will use your content creation skills to amplify innovative electric vehicles for Chevrolet, and what message you believe communities of color need to hear about electric vehicles in order to be considered for this fellowship. Over the course of ten weeks, each fellow will have the chance to create content and write articles about the benefits of electric vehicles for various social media outlets while being mentored at a Black-owned media company. A journalism major is not required and any applicants who are multi-media savvy, have strong writing skills, have a passion for storytelling, and want to promote positivity in African-American communities are encouraged to apply.
