The Alaska Geological Society Don Richter Scholarship is available to graduate students who are pursuing research related to geology and geophysics disciplines in Alaska. Research in the areas of Don’s interests, including volcanology, igneous petrology, neotectonics, or field-based studies in the Aleutian arc, Talkeetna Mountains, and Wrangell Mountains region are especially encouraged.
