Purina Animal Nutrition Scholarship

Description

The Purina Animal Nutrition Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduate students who have experience showing or caring for large/small livestock animals, equine, or poultry (not house pets). Selection is based on a 1,000-word maximum essay addressing the following topic: “What inspires you to care for animals? Share your motivations for raising and caring for them, and how this experience has shaped your perspective.” Additionally, students will be selected on the basis of academic record, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience, an online recommendation, unusual or personal family circumstances, and a statement of educational and career goals.
