The SAE Women-in-Automotive Scholarship is available to female students pursuing a software engineering, electronics, electrical, mechatronics, or similarly related engineering degree through an attending a U.S. ABET accredited program. To be considered for this award, you must be a legal resident of the U.S. and submit two letters of recommendation. Incoming freshman students must have a minimum GPA of 3.75 (all other students need a minimum 3.5 GPA). Additionally, you should demonstrate a commitment to increase the involvement of women in engineering and encourage girls/women to pursue STEM studies/careers through substantial involvement/leadership in school, work, community, club, volunteer, or mentorship activities.
