Description

The Editorial Freelancers Association Ruth Mullen Memorial Scholarship is available to sophomore-level undergraduate students and to first-year graduate students who are attending HBCUs. To be eligible for this award, you must be majoring in one of the following disciplines: English and other languages, English or other literature, writing, journalism, linguistics, rhetoric, scriptwriting, screenwriting, science writing, marketing, advertising, mass communications, media communications, web or social media writing and communications, copywriting, public relations, or entrepreneurship. Additionally, you must have a minimum GPA of 3.0, be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident, and demonstrate financial need.
