The ASCAP Foundation
The ASCAP Foundation HBCU Scholarship is available to undergraduate and graduate students who are enrolled at a historically Black college or university and have an interest in pursuing a career in music, including music technology, music business and music performance. To be eligible for this award, you must be a U.S. citizen/permanent resident and at least 18 years of age. Additionally, you should be either an ASCAP writer member in good standing or a writer who is not affiliated with any performing rights or collective rights management organization. Selection is based on a 250-500-word essay on the provided topic.
