Description

The Museum Archives Digital Projects Fellowship is available to students enrolled in an MLIS program with a concentration in archival management and to advanced undergraduates (rising seniors) preparing to enroll in an MLIS program. To be considered for this opportunity, you should possess excellent organizational, research, and interpersonal skills. You should be able to work independently and sustain close attention to detail, meet deadlines/quotas, and interpret complex instructions. Knowledge of digitization hardware and digital imaging software is preferred. As an intern, you will gain experience in the proper care and handling of archival collections, the standards and best practices for digitization of primary sources, and metadata management. The fellowship offers essential tools and insights for any person whose career plans include archival administration, digital asset management, and in-depth research.
