The Dean L. Bates Scholarship is available to students attending Black Hawk College-East Campus. You must be majoring in agronomy, horticulture or biology (botany) and currently be receiving no other scholarships to be eligible for this award. Preference will be given to direct descendants of Mr. and Mrs. Fremont and Clara Bates.
