John H. Daniels Fellowship

The John H. Daniels Fellowship is open to graduate students who are working on projects related to horse and field sports. You must be majoring in history, literature, art history, anthropology, area studies, or history of science. To be considered for this award, you must submit: a cover letter with current contact information; a research proposal of no more than 500 words; an explanation showing how you will use the library's collections in your research; a short bibliography of titles to be consulted; budget requirements, including living expenses and any research-related costs; tentative first- and second-choice of dates of residency for the fellowship; a letter of recommendation from an advisor or colleague; and a curriculum vitae or detailed resume.
