Description
The Larry Matfay Cultural Heritage Scholarship is open to Alaska Natives enrolled under section 5 of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act to the Koniag region and direct or legally adopted descendants of those original enrollees. You must be majoring in anthropology, history, Alaska Native or American Indian Studies or any other discipline in which you are pursuing a course of study that involves research and learning about Alutiiq culture. To be eligible for this award you must be a junior, senior or graduate student with a minimum 2.5 GPA (3.0 in your major).
