Lyon College is an independent, residential, co-educational, undergraduate liberal arts college affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). Founded in 1872, it is the oldest independent college in Arkansas. Lyon is a close-knit teaching and learning community distinguished by the quality of its academic programs as well as its honor system, innovative residential house system, and endowed Nichols International Studies program.
