Moreno Valley College, or MVC, is a community college located in Moreno Valley, California, United States. The college is part of the Riverside Community College District, as well as the larger California Community Colleges System.

Mission Statement

Responsive to the educational needs of its region, Moreno Valley College offers academic programs and student support services which include baccalaureate transfer, professional, pre-professional, and pre-collegiate curricula for all who can benefit from them. Lifelong learning opportunities are provided, especially, in health and public service preparation.

Accreditation

On March 1, 2010 the Board of Governors officially recognized Moreno Valley College as the 111th Community College in the state of California. Having received initial accreditation on January 29, 2010 from the Association for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Colleges, Moreno Valley College met the standards of an independent two year college. Moreno Valley College is now part of a multi college district of the Riverside Community College District alongside Riverside City College and Norco College.
