Morton College is a community college located in Cicero, Illinois. It is the second oldest community college in the state.[citation needed] While the campus itself was constructed in 1975, the College was established in 1924. Currently, the college has an enrollment of approximately 5,000 students, about 25% of whom are full-time. Land was acquired for an athletics field in 1994. Intercollegiate athletics for men include baseball, basketball, soccer, and cross country. Women's sports include volleyball, basketball, cross country,soccer and softball.
Associate Degree Programs include Arts, Science, Applied Science, Fine Arts and Liberal Studies.
The College is a National Alternative Fuels Training Consortium training center.
