St. Cloud State University is a four-year public university founded in 1869 on the banks of the Mississippi River in St. Cloud, Minnesota, United States. The university is the largest school in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system, which is the largest single provider of higher education in Minnesota. With more than 16,500 students, St. Cloud State has Minnesota's second-highest public university enrollment and nearly 110,000 alumni worldwide.
