student at a majority black institution, our traditions and priorities differ from the mainstream American high school experience portrayed in popular media.
We may not place the same emphasis on many of these American traditions. But even with these circumstances at my school, it's fascinating to observe the resurgence of letterman jackets in different parts of the country.
This trend is evident on
social media platforms like TikTok and through photos and videos from other schools. It suggests that, despite regional variations in the popularity of these jackets, they are making a comeback on a broader scale.
