Women's History Month is a relatively new month-long observance in the United States. In fact, it's only about 40-years old as a nationally recognized month. You must have some formal automotive racing experience, be at least 17 years of age, and have a commitment from a team competing in an applicable series in the upcoming season to be eligible for this scholarship. The IMSA Diverse Driver Development Scholarship Program promotes and empowers drivers from a variety of backgrounds to participate in an IMSA-sanctioned series. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must also submit a 1500 - word essay on the following topic: "Choose a technological innovation that you have been excited about and / or been personally involved with, this could be something from the past or present day. Discuss how that technology has changed the world around you or how it could change the world. How would you make that innovation better?"
Award Amount: $500 The NeW Essay Contest is open to female high school juniors and seniors and current undergraduate students. To be considered, you must submit a 600 - to 750 - word essay on the following topic: "Reflect on your experiences as a leader. How do you lead in your sphere of influence? What is the best piece of leadership advice you have received, and how did you put it into action? What qualities do the female leaders you look up to possess? Recipients of this award must be willing to commit to serving as the Sugar Queen or Court attendant for one full year.
