Angie Thomas Writer's Scholarship

Description

The Angie Thomas Writer's Scholarship is open to incoming freshman students at Belhaven College who are majoring in creative writing. To be considered for this award, you must submit a twelve - fifteen-page creative writing submission. You may include the following genres in your application portfolio: poetry, fiction, plays, and creative nonfiction. All of your portfolio may be from one genre or a mix of genres. Additionally, you must submit a three - four-page essay discussing community and your writing. This award is a four-year, full-ride scholarship covering tuition, room, and board.
