Description
The Reid Park Zoo Animal Well-Being Internship is available to undergraduate students and recent graduates interested in zoology. You must be at least 18 years of age, have a minimum GPA of 2.5, be able to lift at least 50 pounds, be able to work in outdoor weather conditions, and possess strong communication skills to be considered for this internship. As an intern, you will perform animal observations and data entry, develop an independent project, write and present findings from the independent project, and participate in seminars and lectures on animal care, animal welfare, biology, conservation, and training. This internship is located in Tucson, AZ, and is offered during the summer, fall, and spring.
