The National Football League's (NFL) Superbowl LIX is set for February 9, 2025, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana where the Kansas City Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles. Not long after Superbowl LIX, the National Basketball Association's (NBA) All-Star Weekend starts February 14-16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco, California. Award Amount: $2,500 The Team DC Student Athlete Scholarship is available to student - athletes who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender. You must reside in or have attended high school in the Washington DC metropolitan area to be eligible for this award.

Nat Moore Scholarship

Deadline: 2/28/25
Award Amount: $2,500 The Nat Moore Scholarship is open to graduating high school seniors. You must be graduating from a high school in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach or Monroe County, have a minimum GPA of 2.5 and submit a personal essay of between 500 and 700 words to be considered for this award.

BBB Ethical Athlete Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000 - $2,500 The BBB Ethical Athlete Scholarship is available to high school students in Arizona. You must be participating in AIA sanctioned school sport and have a minimum 2.75 GPA to be eligible for this award.

Carolina Panthers Players Sam Mills Memorial Scholarship

Award Amount: Varies The Carolina Panthers Players Sam Mills Memorial Scholarship is available to high school seniors in Mecklenburg, NC and Spartanburg, SC. You must have earned a varsity letter and have a minimum GPA of 3.0 to be eligible for this award. Female athletes may letter in any sanctioned sport, male athletes may only letter in football.

Baltimore Ravens Scholarship Program

Award Amount: $5,000 The Baltimore Ravens Scholarship Program is open to graduating seniors attending Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Carroll County public high schools. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate financial need to be eligible for this award.

Dixie Youth Baseball Scholarship

Deadline: 3/1/25
Award Amount: $2,000 The Dixie Youth Baseball Scholarship is available to high school seniors. You must have participated in a Dixie Youth Baseball program at the age of 12 or younger to be eligible for this award.

Houston Denny's Community Builders Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,000 The Houston Denny's Community Builders Scholarship is available to high school and college students in the Greater Houston Area. You must have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be eligible for this award. Winners will be announced at a Houston Astros game.

Gregg Garon Scholarship

Award Amount: Varies The Gregg Garon Scholarship is available to high school seniors who have played soccer for a high school or club in northern San Diego County. You must demonstrate "a lot of heart" and have a minimum 2.5 GPA to be considered for this award

Gymreapers Athletic Scholarship Program

Award Amount: $1,000 The Gymreapers Athletic Scholarship Program is open to students who are actively participating in a college sports team or athletic club. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must also submit a 500 - word essay on how weightlifting has shaped your approach to achieving goals, both academically and athletically.

Marc E. Lewis Youth Scholarship

Deadline: 4/1/25
Award Amount: $10,000 The Marc E. Lewis Youth Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors in Massachusetts. To be eligible, you must have helped to make high school and / or community sports programs safer for and more inclusive of LGBTQ student - athletes as either a role model or ally.

Holiday Classic Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,500 The Holiday Classic Scholarship is available to student - athletes from participating schools in the State Farm Holiday Classic. You must have earned a varsity letter in basketball this year and have a minimum 2.75 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must also submit a 200 - to 500 - word essay on the following topic: "How my high school sports experience helped prepare me for success in higher education."

Denver Area Lynch Family Legacy Scholarship

Award Amount: $6,000 The Denver Area Lynch Family Legacy Scholarship is available to high school seniors from the Denver and greater Colorado area. You must be a varsity athlete to be eligible for this award. Selection is based on academics, athletics, community involvement, financial need, leadership, and other intangible qualities.

William "Bill" Thomas Athletic Achievement Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000 The William "Bill" Thomas Athletic Achievement Scholarship is available to high school seniors who are planning to attend an HBCU. You must have at least a 2.7 GPA to be eligible for this award. You must also submit a 1,000 - word essay discussing a significant challenge or sacrifice you've made as an athlete that has shaped your character and work ethic.

OHSAA Scholarship

Award Amount: $1,000 The OHSAA Scholarship is available to high school seniors residing in Ohio. Award Amount: $2,500 The Linda Craig Memorial Scholarship is available to undergraduate students attending an Indiana college or university. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be majoring in athletic training, physical therapy, or a related discipline to be eligible for this award. You must also demonstrate outstanding character, integrity, and leadership.

Anthony Munoz Scholarship

Award Amount: $2,500 The Anthony Munoz Scholarship is available to graduating high school seniors residing in the Tri - State region. You must have a minimum 3.0 GPA or a minimum ACT score of 18 to be eligible for this award. You must also be planning to attend an accredited Tri - State college or university.
