The Reporting Internship is available to students with interest in local news, business news, features, editorial and sports. You must actively use social media in the news-gathering process to be considered for this position. As an intern, you will interns will be assigned to a specific department, but some could be asked to cover a narrowly focused beat -- at the forefront of experiments to grow our digital audience. In addition, internships are also available at their Washington, D.C., bureau and at their Spanish-language publication, Al Día. It is required that applicants for the Washington internship be college graduates, with previous experience covering politics or government preferred. Applicants for Al Día must be fluent in speaking and writing Spanish.
