OutRight Action International UN Program Internship

Description

The OutRight Action International UN Program Internship is available to graduate level students. You must have a passion for human rights, LGBT issues, and gender equality to be considered for this internship. Preference given to graduate level and law student applicants with strong writing abilities. As a UN Program intern, you will engage with the team on a variety of issues faced by LGBT individuals around the world. Interns will monitor developments at the UN, support society advocacy efforts through research, draft communications to governments, diplomatic missions, the UN Secretariat, mechanisms, special funds and programs, and civil society, provide administrative support, and coordinate with OutRight international staff. This position is located at OutRight headquarters in New York, New York.
