Tesla Design Quality Internship

Description

The Tesla Design Quality Internship is available to graduate students pursing a degree related to Engineering Design. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office, possess strong communication skills and be a dynamic problem-solver to be considered for this internship. Additionally, you must be able to meet the minimum requirement during the Color Blindness and Color Vision Skill Test administered during interview process. Preference will be given to applicants who have a working knowledge of automotive concepts, possess basic to intermediate knowledge of materials (textiles, leather, PUR, vacuum forming, colorants, paints, plating), and process/assembly or injection molding. As an intern, you will develop the skills and learn the process for approving appearance parts for color, appearance quality, and harmony. You will engage with suppliers, giving direction based on the product target and approving/rejecting parts. The Design Quality Team interfaces with Design and Engineering to gain an understanding of design intent and develops product with suppliers as a champion of that intent. This internship is located in Fremont, CA.
